My Story
These are my stories and thoughts as a mother and about motherhood. Some may make you laugh while others encourage reflection. I hope all of them offer hope. None of us as mothers, or as parents, know what the heck we’re doing. The baby when born doesn’t come with a specific manual for perfect upbringing or magic parenting advice. We stumble our way through it doing the best that we can with what we’ve been given. This is hard work. Give yourself a lot of credit. Please remember how incredible you are. You’re unique and beautiful–whether your kids are behaving perfectly or throwing a fit in the grocery story. Hold your head up. You’re a mom. A million hands of applause.
In my other Blog categories I share more of my life experiences with you, my travel and work adventures. Will you join me as I record some of the places my feet walk? The challenges I face and the triumphs I encounter. I believe in them you may also find yourself, your own challenges and triumphs. Maybe a nudge to take a path less traveled or to pick up the weapon you dropped along the way to destroy the beasts that block your advancement. Or possibly just a little entertainment. Whatever it is, motherhood, travel or life in general, thanks for allowing me to share my experiences with you.
Mom2the9s, a mother of five biological and four step children, yep, nine of them. Previously a stay at home, homeschool mom, public school mom, a widow, single mother, a small business owner, barista, old newlywed and new stepmother, now an empty nester. Wisdom comes with experience–and a lot of mistakes. Sharing my heart, stories, and adventures with you is an incredible privilege. Thank you
